Function of the product Valens Lipovit C liquid

The key advantage of liposomal vitamin C over conventional vitamin C is increased absorption with better entry into the bloodstream and less breakdown due to stomach acid. Absorption rates aren't exactly the best with regular vitamin C - in fact, at doses above 1000mg, absorption is only around 50%. But due to the structure of liposomal vitamin C, absorption rates can be much higher.

In two studies from 2016 and 2019, researchers observed greater bioavailability of vitamin C (as measured by blood plasma concentration) when it was encapsulated in liposomes compared to the non-encapsulated form. Another 2019 study found that white blood cells absorbed about 50% more vitamin C from a liposomal vitamin C product than from a non-liposomal product.

Liposomes are extremely small lipids or fat particles that are produced from common fats such as sunflower oil and have been used since the 1970s as an effective method for the production of drugs and nutrients. Specifically, liposomes are phospholipids—the same type of fat that makes up your cell membranes.
