GALENIC PRODUCT

1. WHAT HERBALEX DROPS ARE AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Herbalex drops contain a mixture of eleven essential oils in 81% (V / V) ethanol: essential oil of lemon balm, essential oil of peppermint, essential oil of bitter fennel fruit, essential oil of wild clove flower, essential oil of motherwort. , pine essential oil, anise essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, sage essential oil, cinnamon bark essential oil and true lavender essential oil.
Herbalex drops are intended to relieve mild problems such as gastrointestinal cramps, pain and menstrual problems, bloating and flatulence, bloating, poor bile secretion and indigestion, nervousness, restlessness and mild sleep disturbances.
Herbalex drops are recommended for accelerating expectoration, for sore throats and colds, for relieving inflammation and disinfecting scratches and sores on the skin, for headaches, and for massage for pain in muscles and joints.

2. BEFORE YOU USE HERBALEX DROPS

Do not take Herbalex drops
Do not take Herbalex drops:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to essential oils or other ingredients,
- if you have a stomach or duodenal ulcer,
- if you have liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy or central nervous system disease,
- in children under 12 years of age.
Take special care with Herbalex drops
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine:
- if you are taking medicines to calm you down, improve your well-being or sleep,
- if you have diabetes.
Seek medical attention from your doctor immediately:
- if the signs of your illness get worse while you are taking the medicine.
Taking other medications
Herbalex drops contain ethanol, which may increase the effect of other medicines.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Taking Herbalex drops with food and drink
Take Herbalex drops diluted in water or tea or on a sugar cube during or immediately after a meal.
Pregnancy and lactation
It contains 81% (V / V) ethanol or up to 0.4 g ethanol per dose, so it is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Effects on ability to drive and use machines
Herbalex drops contain up to 0.4 g of ethanol per dose and may affect your ability to drive or use machines.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Herbalex drops
It contains butylhydroxyanisole, which may cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis) or irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
Herbalex drops contain 81% (V / V) ethanol (alcohol), ie up to 0.4 g per dose, equivalent to 10.1 ml of beer or up to 4.2 ml of wine per dose.
Pregnant and breast-feeding mothers, children and high-risk groups, such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy, should be monitored for ethanol content.

3. HOW TO USE HERBALEX DROPS

Always take Herbalex drops exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless otherwise advised by your doctor or pharmacist, follow the following dosing instructions
Internal use:
Drizzle 10 to 20 drops in hot water, tea or on a sugar cube. Take the drops up to 5 times a day during or immediately after meals.
External use:
Dilute undiluted Herbalex drops lightly into the skin over painful areas several times a day.
Preparation of solution for inhalation:
Drip 20 to 30 drops of the medicine into hot water and inhale.
Preparation of gargle solution:
Drop 10 to 20 drops in a glass of warm water and gargle.
If you take more Herbalex drops than you should
If you take more Herbalex drops than you should, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.
Irritation of the oral mucosa and gastrointestinal tract may occur. Nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain may occur. If you experience severe side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take Herbalex drops
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you forget to take Herbalex drops, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue as directed.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Herbalex drops can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
With frequent use on the skin, the skin can become dry and irritated. Allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to the skin, mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract may occur. Rarely, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.
If any of the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

5. HOW TO STORE HERBALEX DROPS

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store tightly closed at temperatures up to 25 ° C.
Store protected from light in the original package.
Shelf life

- 3,9 mg Eucalyptus globulus L., aetheroleum, (eucalyptus essential oil),
- 0,5 mg Salvia officinalis L., aetheroleum, (sage essential oil),
- 1,6 mg Cinnamomum zeylanicum Nees (C. Verum J: S: Presl), aetheroleum, (cinnamon bark essential oil),
- 0.7 mg Lavender angustifolia Miller, aetheroleum, (essential oil of true lavender).
The other ingredients are: ethanol, purified water, butylhydroxyanisole (E320).

Kot vsa zdravila ima lahko tudi zdravilo Herbalex kapljice neželene učinke, ki pa se ne pojavljajo pri vseh bolnikih.
