Using the Rapid COVID-19 Antibody Test

The test can be used by adults. It is intended for children only under adult supervision.

Test Guidelines

Special warnings!

Do not freeze the test. Store it in a dry place at a temperature between 2   °C in 30   °C.

The test cassette must remain sealed in the bag until use.

Test Limitations

This test is not a PCR screening test to prove the presence of the virus, but demonstrates the reaction of the patient's immune system to covid-19.

This test does not show if the patient is infected, it only shows if the person has been in   contact with the virus for a period of time.
A false negative result may be seen in some patients with early symptoms.
Repeat the test in the following days to demonstrate the development of antibodies. At the onset of infection, the concentration of IgM antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 may be lower than the minimum detection value.
This test will only show the presence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in the sample and is not used as the sole diagnostic criterion.
This test is not a substitute for consulting a doctor or for the results of biological analyzes performed by a medical laboratory.

Incorrect results may occur if:
- the test is not used in accordance with the enclosed instructions,
- the foil of the bag is damaged or if the test is not used immediately after opening the bag from the foil,
- the test is incorrectly stored or if use the test after the expiry date stated on the foil bag.

A positive test result must be confirmed by laboratory tests. Talk to your doctor.
There is a possibility that the test may show a false positive result, especially in some cases in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
There are cases of cross-reaction with SARS-CoV-1 and other seasonal coronaviruses. 
If you have a positive result, this indicates the presence of antibodies, but it does not mean that you are immune to covid-19.
Each individual has a different immune system response. In some individuals, the antibodies may disappear within a few weeks of infection.
